Sadly no one has the courage to tell the Scousers to do one. Standing in itself obviously isn’t unsafe given we aren’t talking about pens, unrestricted capacities , fences and drunk ticketless Scousers forcing their way in.
And urinating on dead fans after rifling through their pockets

I've got a season ticket for York in the conference north and love standing, I won't be getting one when they move into their 8,000 all seater stadium next year. The stewards at WH are bad but they're even worse at York, considering most other clubs in that division let u smoke, drink and stand during the game and generally don't give a frig what u get up to. All seater stadiums are simply anti-social as u can't meet up with who u want during the game despite spending your hard earned on invariably poor entertainment whatever division it's played in. That said tho, maybe we're just soft in this country, doing what we're told to do all the time at football grounds. Then again maybe I'm just an old dinosaur.

west brom are bang on the money here............. because people stand regardless it is more unsafe to stay as it is. the "railed" section would be much safer for those who chose to stand.
the government are just scared of upsetting a few scousers.
